The challenge.

Cloud migration specialist Bytes wanted to not only amplify awareness of its AWS Cloud solutions, but convert this awareness into lead generation opportunities among businesses tackling migration challenges.

But the playing field of cloud migration is a congested scrum of competitors. If Bytes was going to break through the pack and race clear away to the try-line, it was going to need to get out of the ordinary with its marketing.

Our challenge was to devise a campaign that could:
 

  • Capture attention and cut through a noisy landscape
  • Engage partners and encourage referrals
  • Strategically manoeuvre upselling opportunities

…and all without dropping the ball on authenticity.

Our solution.

We created a campaign to capitalise on the excitement surrounding Rugby World Cup 2023, to engage IT decision-makers from the existing Bytes database, and their wider business network.

To dial up the excitement and participation, we developed an online match prediction game giving players the opportunity to win a variety of prizes over the course of the tournament.

Supported by an 8-week email campaign that sustained interest in the game and promoted a range of Bytes AWS Cloud solutions, we helped Bytes convert with its partners and kick the competitors into touch.
